PROBLEM 

Glenbrook School was constructing a new softball and baseball sports complex in Minden, Louisiana, designed to support student-athletes, coaches, and spectators for years to come. As a new construction project, the facility required full plumbing infrastructure and HVAC systems installed across multiple functional spaces. 

The challenge involved coordinating all mechanical systems within an active construction schedule while ensuring long-term reliability, code compliance, and proper system performance for high-traffic athletic use. 

SOLUTION 

Our team was contracted to complete the full plumbing scope of work along with the installation of 12 mini-split HVAC systems throughout the facility. The plumbing installation included underground utilities, water supply lines, sanitary and vent systems, floor drains, and coordination with slab and foundation work. 

Fixture installation covered restrooms, dressing rooms, concession areas, storage spaces, and administrative offices, including water closets, sinks, mop sinks, water heaters, and ice maker connections. All systems were pressure tested, inspected, and commissioned to meet commercial code requirements. 

For HVAC, 12 high-efficiency mini-split systems were installed to provide zoned comfort across the facility. These systems were strategically placed in dressing rooms, offices, concessions, and support spaces to ensure consistent cooling with minimal ductwork and maximum energy efficiency. 

Close coordination with other trades ensured proper routing of electrical, refrigerant, and condensate systems while maintaining project schedule integrity. 

LEGACY 

The completed sports complex now provides a reliable, efficient, and durable mechanical infrastructure designed for long-term athletic use. The plumbing systems support high-volume event demand, while the zoned mini-split HVAC systems deliver consistent comfort throughout the facility—even during peak summer conditions. 

The result is a modern, fully functional sports environment that enhances the experience for athletes, coaches, staff, and fans while supporting the school’s long-term facility goals.
